KoolTrax™ Ranger
KoolTrax™ Ranger is the dedicated tracking device people wear in order to be tracked (or, use KoolTrax™ Mobile™). One KoolTrax™ Ranger may be all you need because it comes with KoolTrax™ PC software that allows you to configure and manage all your KoolTrax™ Ranger devices. To run KoolTrax™ PC software it must be installed on your Internet connected Windows PC.

KoolTrax™ Mobile™
KoolTrax™ Mobile™ turns your mobile phone or PDA into a GPS tracker, enabling the location of that device to be monitored on an Internet connected Windows PC running KoolTrax™ PC software (provided free).
KoolTrax™ Mobile™ is very affordable and it's downloadable now.
Now you don't need to carry around a dedicated tracking device, and you've every excuse to get a state of the art mobile device.
Currently KoolTrax™ Mobile™ requires Windows Mobile 5+. Java and Symbian versions are in the pipeline too. Of course, your mobile or PDA will need GPS capability too (either in-built or you can purchase GPS add ons).

KoolTrax™ Handset
KoolTrax™ PC software comes free as part of every purchase of a KoolTrax™ Ranger and allows you to manage and track your KoolTrax™ Ranger devices using your existing Internet connected Windows computer. KoolTrax™ PC on your PC gives you everything you need to manage and track your KoolTrax™ Ranger devices, but it ties you to your computer at times when you might prefer to be helping to find whoever is missing.
The KoolTrax™ Handset is KoolTrax™ PC software installed and running on a Mio A701 Personal Digital Assistant, a handheld computer and mobile phone that provides all sorts of things to help you get organised, from an address book to satellite navigation. What you're buying is the Mio A701 PDA at a competitive price, with KoolTrax™ PC software preloaded onto it so you can locate your KoolTrax™ Ranger devices while you are on the move.
It's optional, but it's a lot more fun, and more useful, than tracking from home, and allows you to wander freely and then find each other in busy locations such as shopping centres, amusement parks, concerts or unfamiliar towns (always have a backup plan, though).
Plus, it's a great excuse to get a state-of-the-art PDA and phone and get organised.

Summary
We offer three products. If the person you want to track is comfortable using a sophisticated mobile phone and you don't need a movement sensor, combine it all into one unit and install KoolTrax™ Mobile™ onto a Windows Media 5 mobile phone or PDA with GPS capability and it will function as a tracker.
For monitoring kids or people with dementia or if your lone workers need a no-movement sensor or quick access to a panic button, KoolTrax™ Ranger may be more appropriate.
If you have one or more of our tracker units and want to be able to see their location while you are yourself on the move, KoolTrax™ Handset is what you need.
