BlueRanger is a small, wearable GPS location device for the consensual tracking of people, including children. It can tell those monitoring it its location, in real time, to within 4 metres so you always know where it is, and so you know the location of the person wearing it.
BlueRanger is managed and tracked using BlueMap software which you install and run on an Internet connected Windows PC. Optionally, you can track BlueRanger units using the BlueMap PDA.
If you have a suitably sophisticated mobile phone or PDA or would consider upgrading, you might also consider KoolTrax, software that turns your mobile phone into a GPS tracker. There's a table to compare GPS tracking devices here.
BlueRanger provides a wide range of highly configurable alerts.
To get your alerts you can:
For professional users who may seek the assurance of the panic alarm that provides exact location data, but who in ordinary use do not wish to be location tracked, we provide an option to do just that. This may make it easier for a workforce to accept the use of tracking devices while still providing for the requirements of health and safety legislation and the related benefits.
Using BlueMap software on your own PC, you can set up how alerts are delivered:
If your child, loved one, or employee wears a BlueRanger, you can track their whereabouts in real-time with accuracy down to just 4 metres using your PC and the Internet.
BlueRanger tracks whoever wears it, so use it for all the family, or pass it around the staff according to who needs it the most.
